Qatar Canadian School offers the Alberta
Program of Studies to students in Senior
Kindergarten to Grade 11. The school has
received accreditation from
Alberta Education in the 2012-2013
school year.
All staff that teach Alberta programs
are qualified to do so by Alberta
Education.

Qatar Canadian School
Based just three km from the College of
the North Atlantic, the school operates
in a spacious setting in a quiet
residential area. On the ground floor we
have a Library, a Kindergarten/Primary,
Junior, classrooms along with offices.
Junior High and Grade 10 classrooms are
upstairs along with a dining area.
The school does not have a gym or
grassed play area but does have a large
covered area with outdoor sports
flooring. Children in Grades 4 - 11 are
bussed to the College of the North
Atlantic where they use the outstanding
sports facilities offered there.
Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3 enjoy
sports under the covered play area.
Regular School Hours:
Grades 1 - 11: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Senior Kindergarten: 7:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m.
Junior Kindergarten: 7:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m.
Bus Schedule:
All students are asked to be at the
clubhouse 5 minutes before the bus is
scheduled to leave. All buses will be
labeled and student names will be posted
near the door. Dismissal time for
Kindergarten is 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
for Grades 1 – 11.
